The interface is designed as a wiki, so anyone can add or edit content.... I don't know if this is an open source tool, but if it is, it is something that I'm going to work to put up on our school server so that so we can have a student sandbox and have our students play with this.

Outdoor Classroom Construction Begins

This year the VBC will be working with Lewis to help build an outdoor classroom structure in the Lewis Outdoor Center.... As part of our participation in the Village Building Convergence, natural builder James Thomson will be working with students and staff during the VBC to construct a cob bench in the outdoor center.

As I headed out to crosswalk duty, I took this picture of the bikes in our bike racks. It is nice to work in a building where so many students can walk or ride bikes to school. We have been involved with a program to encourage students and families to do more of this and it has been a great success.

Tomorrow night Lewis Elementary will hold its 18th annual Art Night. This is a annual night were we highlight the art work of our students and provide an opportunity for our 3rd grade Recorder Club, Beginning and Intermediate Bands, and Marimba Band to perform.
