Alan Levine recently talked about iShowU, the Mac OS screen recording application. iShowU allows you to capture and record anything you can see on your screen, along with audio from a microphone (built-in or external) as well as any audio from the mac itself. It can be configured in a number of ways and is a tremendous deal at only $20.
